MSHCDL cohort participant Alfred Burger, M.D, (background right) accepts the Society of Hospital Medicine's Chapter Excellence Award during the Society's annual conference in Orlando. The award recognizes outstanding chapters that demonstrate growth and innovation in their chapter activities. Dr. Burger was accepting on behalf of the New York City/Westchester chapter, of which he is an officer.
